Is it scary?

The maze is a sensory experience that you explore at your own pace. The focus is on discovery and perception, not on fear. There are no actors and no moments designed to deliberately scare you. Some spaces are dark and, because you do not know what lies ahead, entering the maze can feel exciting or tense. This feeling comes from stepping into the unknown rather than from any intention to frighten you.

 

If you tend to feel uncomfortable in the dark or in smaller enclosed spaces, we recommend considering in advance whether this experience is right for you. Emergency doors and buttons are located throughout the maze. During check in, we show you how these work and explain how you can leave the experience early if needed.

 

This maze is not intended to be scary, but to stimulate your senses. There are no actors, but there are a few subtle elements that some visitors may find surprising.

By car: Navigate to ‘ParkBee Parking Wisselspoor’, drive up to the barrier gate, scan the QR code of ParkBee and follow the steps. From the parking lot, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to Doloris Anoma Maze, via 2e Daalsedijk.

 

Public transportation: Doloris is a 15-minute walk from Utrecht Central Station and Utrecht Zuilen.
