  • sensitive to an epileptic seizure
  • under the age of 12
  • claustrophobic and/or have a fear of small, dark spaces
  • have an anxiety disorder

The Meta Maze is physically challenging. You’ll have to crawl and climb through your journey. Inside there are plenty of spaces to rest when you get exhausted.

Unfortunately, the Meta Maze is not suitable or accessible for everyone. To enter the maze you have to be in good physical condition.

What is the duration of the experience?

You can wander in the Meta Maze for however long you want. The duration depends on you.

The estimated time for your journey is between 30 and 60 minutes.

If you have a serious fear of small spaces or have an anxiety disorder, this experience might not be suitable for you.

Can I enter the Meta Maze together with my friend?

You can come to Doloris’ Meta Maze together but you enter the Meta Maze separately. You explore the maze on your own.

It is possible that you come across each other when you are inside, but you will have to continue on your own.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age to visit the Meta Maze is 12 years old. We have decided on this age because it is an individual experience and children from 12 years and up are able to experience alone.

There is no maximum age, when you’re well on your feet, you can visit the Meta Maze.

Do I have to wear a blindfold?

In order to enjoy the full experience, everyone will have to wear a blindfold upon entering the Meta Maze. This is part of the journey.

What should I wear when I visit the Meta Maze?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes in which you can move easily. Do not wear your best and newest clothes. As the Meta Maze is physically challenging, there are some restrictions to your outfit.

  • wear solid shoes; no high heels or flip-flops
  • wear clothes in which you can move easily

Due to physical movement, it can be hot inside the maze, you will be fine in a t-shirt. You’ll be crawling and climbing, for that reason, long pants will be the most comfortable during the experience.

Can i cancel or change my chosen timeslot?

Tickets are booked on a specific time slot. Places are reserved for you personally and can’t be changed on the day itself.

It is possible to change the date and time a maximum of 24 hours (1 day) before your visit. Please contact support@globalticket.nl if you want to choose a new time slot or call 020 244 287 7. You can reach Global Ticket, our ticket provider, 7 days a week from 9.00h – 17.00h. If your visit takes place within 24 hours, you can no longer change your reservation. If you are unable to retrieve your time lock, your tickets will expire.

Tickets on a time slot cannot be canceled after purchase unless you have purchased the ‘possibility of cancellation’ with your tickets.

Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and (smart)watches, bags, coats, and accessories can be stored inside a rented locker. (min. €1 – max €3). Big backpacks and laptop bags (15” and above) don’t fit inside the lockers. Please leave these bags at home or at your stay.

You can book tickets via your own mobile device at the door for a timeslot.

Do I have to make the reservation for the Rooftop or Meta Maze separately?

Yes, you have to make two reservations if you want to visit both. We recommend leaving about 1,5 hours between your visit to the Meta Maze and your visit to the Rooftop. For example, you visit Doloris’ Meta Maze at 16:00h and you make the reservation for the Rooftop at 17:30h.

Doloris’ Meta Maze is built by the art collective KARMANOIA and other artists.

To generate positive impulses on human perception, Karmanoia creates immersive environments, such as Peristal Singum in Berlin. Following a deep creative need, they provide the world with walkthrough art installations.

Karmanoia is an artistic consortium and in the past 15 years, their cultural platform has functioned as a hub for people with all kinds of talents.

Through Karmanoia, musicians, performers, builders, and visionaries have discovered their potential by connecting to others with similar longings.
